Smile Foundation is an Indian development organization established in 2002, focused on transforming lives through education, healthcare, and empowerment. Every year, Smile Foundation impacts the lives of over 20 lakh children and their families through more than 400 projects carried out across education, healthcare, livelihood, and women empowerment.
With presence in over 2,000 remote villages and urban slums across 27 states, Smile Foundation works as a catalyst for long-term change at the grassroots. The organization partners with like-minded individuals and institutions to complement government efforts and help advance the Sustainable Development Goals through high-impact, community-centered programmes.
Programmes and community impact
Smile Foundation’s work covers education and holistic child development, women empowerment for adolescent girls and women, community sustainability, healthcare services for hard-to-reach communities, and livelihood skill training with placement support for underprivileged youth. It also provides disaster response to meet the urgent needs of affected people.
Campaigns and pathways to change
Smile Foundation runs focused initiatives such as “Tayyari Kal Ki” for training and upskilling youth (18–32), “Health Cannot Wait” to expand accessible healthcare for under-privileged communities, “Shiksha Na Ruke” to help children return to school, and “She Can Fly” to enable girl children with quality education and nutrition.
