Music Academy of the West at Intelloidea: A Season of Bold New Works and Timeless Classics

Music Academy of the West is where aspiring classical musicians gain world-class training through unforgettable performance and community programs. At Intelloidea, we’re excited to spotlight the academy’s upcoming Summer Music Festival & School, running June 17–August 8, a season designed to celebrate the many artists, stories, and traditions that shape American classical music.

This year’s festival is built on an “American Mosaic” of bold new works and timeless classics, with tributes to Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, and Charles Ives. Premieres and featured artists include Jasmine Arielle Barnes, Christopher Cerrone, and Missy Mazzoli, alongside works by Kevin Puts and Steve Reich.
