What Memdeklaro Is
Memdeklaro is an open source, free, humanitarian project that gives you the freedom to self-declare your own identity without third parties. On memdeklaro.pgs.sh, the focus is clear: your identity belongs to you.
Memdeklaro is designed for people who are locked out of their own lives when a state refuses to issue documents like birth certificates, national IDs, or passports—often due to circumstances of birth rather than adult actions. In practical terms, lack of government ID can block employment, housing, healthcare, education, banking, travel, contracts, and even basic services.
What It Does (and Doesn’t Do)
Memdeklaro lets you generate an identity that includes self-chosen details such as a first name, surname, birth date, photo, signature, an ID number, and optional notes. It does not contain place of birth, citizenship or stateless status, or parents’ names.
Create your Memdeklaro locally, then print it or use it digitally, and live with more control over your own record.
